Subject: Drone generator electric code for ground?

West Central Illinois
Finishing up our drone tender trailer. Mounted a Generac diesel 20kw generator.
It has four output leads. White, black, red and green. First three are obvious. Ran 2/0 cable to a 150 amp breaker box - all four wires. The breaker box has white neutral bonded to green ground.
Our question is whether we should ground the green to a rod in the ground? (Have a 3/8 in copper coated ground rod for that purpose.)
We’ve asked three electricians and they all recommended a ground rod.
But they probably aren’t familiar with the code as it pertains to portable power such as RVs which I’ve never seen grounded when running a generator.
