| Want to add you want a curbstop with Minneapolis threads on top so you can make your own stand pipe out of galvanized or PVC to silde your water key wrench down to turn off/on. Like other said get a stop and waste in the valve. To drain after the valve. Brands to look at are Ford, Mcdonald, Mueller. Here is pic how we plumbed two shut offs one for a trough, the other is for a frost free hydrant.
