| I feel the ROI on starter has a lot to do with soil fertility. Neighbor did two trials this year, he happened to have two 80 acre fields that were in corn so he split each of them in half. One half of each field got 10 gallons of 10-34-0 with zinc and the other half got nothing. This is a good farmer with high fertility on all his fields including these two 80’s. Neither field showed a yield response this fall. Yes there was a visual response this spring and early summer but it did not translate a yield response in the fall. | |
