It seems that I've seen them mentioned on here. Our coop, Skyland Grain, got pretty large very quickly over the last decade or so. Something big happened and about took them down. Perhaps it did take them down.
Anyway, today, news is that this Andersons group bought our Coop. Will that be an improvement? Or is there reason to be concerned? I read in the news release that it instantly doubled their agronomy department.
Our family has done business with them for 60 plus years and back then up to when they went public was real good but now since the got on the Wall Street the board its all about stock holders dividends and the personal addition is gone |
So The Andersons, Inc. bought the majority stake of our local large Coop.
