| We use some stainless steel fittings. Use thread tape made for stainless, also use good pipe dope, we use Blue Monster brand. Need to use both on the fittings. Also never screw threads together unless you as hooking pipes up. I learned the hard way. I took two 4" fittings and just hand tightened them so they wouldn't bugger threads riding in truck. It galled them together, no way could we get them apart. Ended up cutting one to save the other fitting. It was just hand tightened! | |
