Personally, I think people who are willing to pay what is to me massive amounts of money and sit in the rain, snow, etc. to watch a bunch of overpaid egotists bang into each other over an oblong ball (or any other shape for that matter) seriously need to reassess their priorities.

You sound like a bunch of fun, it's entertainment. I don't hunt, camp, fish, 4 wheel. I do enjoy taking my kids and sometimes their friends to football games.

If that's your thing, more power to you. Lots of people do lots of things that I don't care for. Some people think I'm crazy for getting up before daylight and sitting in a tree stand for hours in freezing weather. I don't do it often but I do sit there sometimes. For me it is about as much about having a time of peaceful contemplation as it is about the possibility of getting some freezer meat. About the only place I like big crowds is in a church gathering. I'm glad you take time to spend with your kids. My son and I got into skeet and trap shooting during his teen years. Good times. The only bad part is that he is a better shot than me. We are now separated by about a thousand miles and I really miss those times. Enjoy every minute you have with your kids. Just don't forget (Deuteronomy 4:9, 10; 6:7; Ephesians 6:4).
