| I have a neighbor that asked me to post this question as he does very little computer stuff. He had a great corn year with very tall corn and is now concerned about notilling beans next spring. He is considering running a VT machine over his 100 acres. The owner of the machine [ I think it is a Great Plaines Turbo till} said he should chop the stalks first another said not to. What is your opinion? Southwest WI. He had good corn last year and really struggled with getting ground fit to plant this spring. The combine he hires does not have any kind of chopping rolls. He is a very good small operator and get great yeilds but struggles with residue management. Thanks | |
