Fingers77 is correct. I-76 is toll road the whole way.

I-70 is not toll road east to New Stanton, PA. At New Stanton, I-70 and I-76 combine east to Breezewood, PA.  This section - between New Stanton and Breezewood is toll road.  At Breezewood, I-70 goes south, and I-76 continues east to Harrisburg.

I-78 is not toll road.

Just a suggestion to consider..... coming east on I-70. When you get to Washington, PA, maybe take I-79 south to Morgantown, WVA.  Then take I-68 east to Hancock MD.  There it will link up with I-70. Continue on I-70 to Hagerstown, MD, then pick up I-81 north to Harrisburg, PA, and then continue on I-81 to I-78.  Just a thought.
