Here we have wood ash from biomass boilers.It is a very good PH improver.Has nutrients as well.I had a new agronomist recommend a chem to kill late season milkweed.I applied and 10 minutes post app he called and said dont do it,,too late.I talked to my retired agronomist of this error..he said order some wood ash,spread on the surface (5 ton acre I think) and let set all winter.It took the possible carryover away.It was not an illegal treatment but had potential impact on the rotation crop.
