I have ac that is along a creek that has some areas of gravel that won't grow beans or corn unless it rains all the time, also in the same farm have trees around fields that deer and coons are really getting good at taking out a good amount of ac. Was wondering if planting wheat every year with a cover crop in between might work. Have had wheat here years ago and it did good enough, landlord as some ground on this farm that is really good at growing corn and beans. They just don't want these tougher areas to not have just grass growing, Could try wheat, cover crop, then corn then back to wheat also. Rent is very reasonable, landlord great to work so trying to come up with something for both of us, thanks.
