rochester IN | Last few years we have been using disc a basket in the fall on stalks. Come back in the spring with field cultivator a plant. Seems to leave nice seed bed. Only difference I see is 5mph vs 10 with high speed disc. I think both are leaving a compaction layer? What’s everyone’s thoughts?? Last spring it was wet here seemed this ground stayed firmer and was much easier to get planted then what our chiseled or ripped ground. | |
