I would love to plant oats and take them to harvest here. However, there isn’t any market here other than raising for cover crop seed. I tried to talk the local feed mill into letting me raise 5-10 acres for feed, but they insist that we can’t grow high enough quality for their feed needs. They currently have their oats trucked in from Michigan and Canada.
