Who the F are you buying seed from???? MAYBE a SmartStax Pro for $335, MAYBE. But Double Pro or PowerCore should be $265-275 at the most. Please don't be the guy that buys the ridiculous $85 advertised corn. If you want to buy conventional to save money, buy from a company with a half decent breeding program... Legacy, Mustang, RSC/Federal, maybe LG.... heck, even the Epley's stuff would be better. Plenty of ways to cut costs without lowering yield. you might find you make changes and never look back.
fertilizer program for me was $83 an acre and that is a slight build, just had to shop a bit for a good deal.


Where are you from? He's talking real world prices for this corner of Iowa. I am not sure I could get pro for 335 myself.
