Emissions follow west coast regulations, always have and always will. California restricts then Oregon and Washington follow suit. Colorado, Minnesota, and Illinois aren't far behind. Then it goes federal. Turning it back at the federal level won't change what states already have in place.
No, but if it made if legal for a farmer in MT to buy a new 3406C Cat or KTA19 Cummins (both still available new from the manufacturer) and a glider truck or tractor to put them in, I would be okay with that. If the left coast wants to hang themselves, who are we to try and stop them? |
