coast of Maine | 50 % of marriages end in divorce.So there is that to think on.Im not sure what the level is for farmers but I assume it is lower.He has assets before he met her.Those are his for many years even if married.At the time of divorce what she contributed is figured into the values.If she has worked beside you for decades its 1/2 hers.If she is just a good sex partner and decides to jump in 5 years she will not get much.Now if he is afraid of child support,,we all pay that as its part of life to raise your kids married or not it all costs.
