Subject: RE: orthman 1tripr

sw Nebraska
The 1TRippers were developed about 30 miles east of me by a farmer using mostly Orthman Cultivator parts. They probably have a majority of the market share in Nebraska and mostly shank machines. I have demoed them and currently run a Case IH DMI unit. I would probably replace with either of those 2 unless someone hand me a blank check and I would look hard at Soil Warrior.

Other machines that have a following around here are Krause/Kuhn Gladiators with ease of adjustment and Schagel Rapid Tills, very simple and reasonably priced.

I strip 12 and plant 24 and highly recommend AutoPath implement guidance keeps your planter on the strip and helps with spraying and harvest.
