| If you are using the brother utilities then you might need to upgrade to the Brother iPrint&Scan. We use Brother printers at work. Some other the others are still using the Brother Utilities. I ha a problem years ago and the popup told me to upgrade to the iPrint&Scan utility.
I did and have not had any problems scanning.
