I thought about putting my own RTK station up but didn't know if I would have enough range (we were struggling with dead spots with the dealers station with range and power failure issues) and would still have to deal with the solar flare/northern lights thing. We had our internet receiver on top of a 55 foot tall bin and it was one more piece of equipment to maintain. Wind got it several times and we kept having to figure out new ways to brace it. | |
