Holly Hill, SC | I am setting up my own base station and trying to get the base to communicate with the vehicle. No luck. I have my FCC frequency matching and network ID. Quick survey or if absolute survey is set up as public. I have tried swapping task of base and vehicle between the two receivers/radios.
Radios are 50 feet apart (have tried setting the watts output to lower setting.)
Led lights on base radio : top solid red, middle red flashing (means Connected and transmitting)
Vehicle lights: top solid red, middle nothing, bottom slow blinking red. (Means searching)
My original radio will connect to the dealer base with no problems. (Can not try the other radio because I do not have security allowed)
Only thing I can see as a problem is the RTK Software version on my older working radio is 1.69e and the newer to me radio is 1.74a.
Not sure how to update these days. (Using 2600 monitors) Could not find software versions for these radios on JD web page.
