| No there is no budget that has become law. This is what has been proposed by the Republican led committee under Trumps blessing to be presented to the entire congress for passage. Unlike executive orders, laws go through a process to become law and thereby carry more weight than executive orders
This is the republicans preference for a budget. No doubt the final final budget will be different. iMHO there will not be an actual budget passed. A CR will more than likely be passed to keep the operations of government open. Based on the history of the past continuing resolution, it will need Democratic support since the slim Republican house majority has as of yet failed to agree on anything. | |
