Agree with Phainein7 assessment on RAM. 16GB dual channel is plenty for Windows 11, nothing wrong with 32GB just more money.
For older machines like your current laptop, a SSD would help some, but the i3 3217u is a two core chip with low clock speed, it is going to be a limiting factor.
Will this laptop do what i want?
