Back in the day, had a perforated 8" auger feeding the dryer as a precleaner. Shoveled up the pile of fines every day or so and fed it to the cattle.
That approach seems logical to me to clean the grain ahead of the dryer. Less dryer problems with more efficient drying. Downside of not getting paid for the fines mixed in with grain.
Best way to remove fines coming out of dryer??
