I’d breed your 700 heifers plus go buy another 300 to go with them. If you want to sell some and not calve them all, breed them in two groups, one with a march date for sale, and one with your preferred date. Unless they’re cows you already own, I personally wouldn’t buy someone else’s empty cows to rebreed.
