Subject: Wiring in second scale head follow up

Ecsd
https://newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1183939&posts=9#M11... I called central city scale and they acted like it would be impossible. Shearwell never got back to me. I was having issues figuring out which plug I needed for the scale head. I ended up typing the different letters and numbers on the scale head connection into google until it came up with a DigiKey part number. DigiKey showed me the connector that fit to the one on the scale head. How I hooked it up. It was easy to find negative and positive on the scale head. Then used some pieces of wire to find the top and bottom weigh bar wires. The weigh crate had a 4 wire terminal. I used the negative wire and the two scale wires from the new scale head. I did not need to put anymore power to the weigh bars because the scale that controlled the weigh crate was doing that already. When I turn the second scale head on I have to zero the first scale head that turned on. I wonder if the negative from the new scale head messes it up a bit. But other than that it works perfectly.
