N.E. MT
Cows are getting lots, Will probably have close to 30k tons left after winter, Will feed right up to calving, don’t really want to feed after calving. Might drylot some odds and ends pairs, short terms, re-tests ect. Have the extra bred cows to push grass hard and wean early. Fed all the fat cows we had room for, they will move out in April along with all the open heifers we could find in locally in September, was wishing we had saved cheaper corn to fatten steers but now I'm thinking let the steers go and try some rebreeds. If price falls apart we can calve them and pasture lot them on silage next year. Have plenty of alfalfa and hailed wheat bales to blend off also.
