perryton, tx | With the frigid weather and snow that moved in overnight I was trying to make sure all my calves were accounted for and in a secure spot. In the process I managed to run over a 2 day old that was bedded in a clump of tall grass. I rushed it to the vet and an exam revealed no broken bones and he can walk although gingerly. If no internal injuries maybe, just maybe, the calf won’t pay the ultimate price for my carelessness. | |
