East Central South Dakota | BMO has to be the most incompetent institution I have ever seen or dealt with. They are so corporate; they are actually ineffective and inefficient. They acquired all these community banks in acquisitions, and they don't have a clue on how to run a community bank---slowly turning them into depositories only. Between them and Wells Fargo the community banks are cleaning up if they are large enough to handle regulatory costs. Wells is actually just pulling out of a lot of locations in South Dakota. I look for BMO to follow that business model. Their corporate structure can't compete with a well-run community bank.
