Eastern NE KS
My feeding rig is a baby calf magnet. About 4-5 years ago I ran over and killed a 2-3 day old. The calf liked to snuggle to the body of the processor, which is just ahead of the unit's large wheels. I try to keep my head on a swivel. I do have a better view of things than around a pickup but I still have blind spots that force a walk around.

Last week another 3 day old likes to follow the tractor and processor. I took advantage of this by leading him 3/8 mile to the barn for vax and tagging. That broke him. He no longer follows the rig.
