Now let’s add a lowball 5k/yr in ss taxes over 40 years (just for easy figuring), so double the check off total…. comes out to north of 1.5 million at retirement. At 4% return that’s 60k/ year or 5k/ month…. Hmmm. This redistribution of the wealth thingy is beginning to have a really rancid odor to it.
