Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio
Lots of different definitions of Legacy. I feel like if 100 years from now what I’ve built is still being utilized by someone, even if they aren’t family, then that’s still a legacy. My parents didn’t leave me much more than a base of operations to build my farm from. That’s still their legacy. I’m just a part timer. My dad and grandpa were considerably smaller part timers. My cousin still has a few cows at my grandparents place. So I guess he is continuing their legacy. So… building a legacy? Farming for fun? Farming to build something bigger for someone down the road some day? Sure all of that.
