Same here. I tag most, son does some harder ones, and when it gets serious my young helper assists. Generally I can distract the cow for 5 seconds while somebody else tags, a poly fiber 6 foot post works great. The Gator helps a lot. But in Jim's case alone, it may not be worth it, especially in a small herd situation where his calves all have different markings
