There was a time in my life, when dad cranked the corn elevator as high as it would go, then we put a 20 foot extension ladder on the top of the corn elevator, then I climbed my way to the top of the ladder with a couple gallons of white paint and a paint brush strapped to my back and painted the peaks of the end walls of our hip roof barn....to say the ladder was a little unstable is an understatement.

Maybe I should have become a fireman?

My Dad made me do that kind of high up antics all the time. Now today he would have to go to jail for this! And I'm scared to death of heights. I bought a Genie 60 foot man lift two years ago, it's a lifesaver and I've never had it fully extended, yet.
