coast of Maine | IH.,If you want a really nice day trip about an hour plus say from Jacksonville,you could go up to Jekyll Island,GA.Super walking,maybe the best bicycle trails in the USA,10miles of hard beach to ride or walk.This time of the year its crazy quiet.The restored area from the late 1800's is kind of neat.The fishing is quite good off the pier at times.The "new " down town sucks as its just contrived shops like Florida all over.Extremely safe area as it costs 10$ to cross the bridge. | |
