I just go the locally owned lumberyard and hardware store owned by people I know who live in the community and support them. Might pay a bit more, but they usually have what I need and they support the local communities.
And I can't drive 30 miles to Menards for free. Couple of bigger projects the difference in price wasn't enough to get me to move my business from the local folks.
I enjoy Menards too, but the store is 62 miles away from me. I do have Lowes and H.D. 7 miles away though.
I dont really enjoy the 11% gimmic, as the store is too far away to take advantage of it. Not a big spender these days. |
