It's really hard to tell Dale, because the fire burned pretty much every acre we farm. We haven't had good consistent rainfall since then, so yields have been lackluster at best. The year before the fire we had a lot of 100 bushel dryland corn. The best since then has been 50..........which was this last year.

I do think we kind of have our residue back in the fields finally but it has been a struggle for sure. Simultaneously our irrigation water quantity has fallen quite a bit over that same period so that has been disheartening as well. Overall as we're getting older, we're getting stuff paid off. So it's not all doom and gloom. And I haven't had to get a real job yet! LOL
