Hooker Twp,Ne | There are right at 140 opt in students in our school. The school district expects someone farming 1500 acres to pay about $15000/ yr in taxes to pay for the bond issue on school building. If we didn’t have those 140 opt students we would be fine. Be nice if each of the opt parents would offer to pay $15000/ yr then we wouldn’t need to worry about tax in bond. 15000 x 140 = 2.1 million. That’s what the yearly payment is for the bond. | |
