NW Missouri | I am going to disagree with most of the other comments it looks like. Coming from a young man that does not have a farm family, take advantage of every opportunity you get offered. I had the chance to buy a grass farm in 2015, using cattle figures from 2013-2014 to budget with the bank to make this purchase. Buying $3k cows sucked, when my first calf crop sold in 2016 was sold for less that $950 per head. BUT. it was the best thing I ever did. If I would of passed I would of never gotten that opportunity again. If you can make it work. Do it.
