90% of my planting maps I make without yield maps. Our soil type/elevation ties to yield map on 90% of our ground.
You plan for average. And throw out the anomalies. 2024 was our throw out year. Actually had stand reduction/drown out on our corn ground. I couldn’t tell you the last time we had as many acres affected as bad as 2024.
