missouri | im in missouri but last year i wanted to plant some feb beans but was running behind didnt get them planted till march 2 so close enough. started planting our normal beans last few days of april had a super wet may and a majority of our beans was planted last few days of may and first half of june, the march 2 beans stayed green super long i would say we cut 80 percent of our normal beans before i could cut the march 2 beans so the beans you saw may not have been replanted. Wear i had a perfect stand they was 3-5 bushel better than the normal beans but there was several areas the stand was 75-80 percent in the march beans. i planted half a field march 2 and planted the other half with same variety same seeding rate everthing the same on may25 overall the yield was exactly the same on both halves of the field | |
