Texas | I’d rebuild it and go on , me personally I’d probably not do a cam . We never did but one , I learned how to work on engines on the 855 Cummins . Liner protrusion is pretty critical on them I believe it was 4 to 7 . It’s possible the counterbores might need cut and shimmed , Cummins will come to your place and do that on site . I think they are probably better than anything made now . They do have common problems like everything else , but they were pretty minor . | |
