Pittsburg, Kansas | I have linked to Dr Jamed DiNicholantonio before but it has probably been a year or three ago. He wrote the book "The Salt Fix", which we have and have read (listened to actually via Audible). Here he is doing an interview style presentation with a bunch of questions he answers. He is a researcher and I believe he said he was also a pharmisist.
Interesting, according to him and the research he quotes, reduction in salt makes about half the people decrease blood pressure and the other half increase with the net difference very tiny to lower blood pressure. So it depends on the individual, according to him, if lowering salt will lower blood pressure. But low salt levels have other problems.

Effects of low sodium intake starting at fifteen and a half minutes. Minute 22 healthy vs unhealthy people and blood pressure effect. Very high salt intake for healthy people just a few minutes before that.
