Subject: RE: Correction into integra

North Central Iowa
OK, so I looked up an Integra manual, I see it has an NTRIP client as well. Looks like the default assumption is that the Integra is connected to a dedicated modem to get internet for the NTRIP client. But it also looks like Ag Leader does/did have a USB Wifi adapter. I'm somewhat assuming that this would also support the NTRIP client to get internet data. So yes, a hot spot in the tractor should work. Yes, the aux serial cable is still needed and goes into Port B on the GPS cable (at least for a 6500 or 7500). I wrote the below first, and is another option, but seems like a USB Wifi adapter is the easy way to go.

You won't be trying to get RTK corrections into the Integra, you will be trying to get RTK corrections into the GPS on the cab roof. Assuming you've had Incommands, the GPS on the roof is likely a 6500 or 7500 and have a dual port cable. On an Incommand, to get RTK corrections to the GPS, one has used the aux serial cable (may also have camera connections on it) to send the corrections from the Incommand's NTRIP client to the GPS on the roof via this cable plugged into Port B (which I think is a 9-pin serial port) of the GPS cable. The Incommand has built in Wifi, so internet to it usually was via a phone hot spot or a dedicated modem.

So if using an Integra, one will need to send corrections to the GPS with some other device. One option would be a bluetooth to serial port adapter plugged into Port B. Then using a mobile phone running an NTRIP client (e.g. Lefebure's NTRIP client on Android) to receive and send the corrections to the GPS via the bluetooth adapter.

I've never actually done the above, so don't know the pin compatibility of Port B and a bluetooth-to-serial port adapter, but nominally, this is the basic idea.

If in their service area, looks like Digifarm has the cables for their Beacon to plug into Port B.
