| I ran a small cam the always leaked to the outside. One mechanic doubled the gaskets. That held for a while.
It finally go to where it would leak and I would add aluma seal. Then when it would leak again, I would run it with soapy water instead of coolant. This would get it really leaking. Then add aluma seal again.
It would hold for a while and then I would have to do it again.
I always figured the timing was advanced in it made it hard on the gaskets.
Pulling hard below 1900 or so is when the gaskets would let go. | |
