Subject: Scout engineers...

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
don't seem to think an onboard generator is a bad idea...especially when off roading and/or cruising rural backroads. Extending the range from 350 miles to possibly over 500 miles by burning a little ethanol blended gas in a generator is kind of big deal that will sell vehicles IMO...an onboard 240 volt outlet might come in handy around the farm/ranch too.

It takes a fully refundable $100.00 to reserve a new Scout TERRA TRUCK or a Scout TRAVELER SUV. My thoughts are why not, I've spent $100.00 on a lot more stupid things that weren't refundable. I'm leaning towards a TERRA but Mona is kind of fired up about the TRAVELER...so we might reserve both. If things go bad and we can't afford any new vehicles when the new Scouts start rolling off of the new South Carolina assembly line in late 2027/2028, Scout claims they'll give us our $200.00 back so big or go home. ;-)

My thoughts are that if the Scout pickups and SUVs deliver even half of what is being advertised, Scout motors will put quit a bit of hurt on Tesla sales....especially Cybertruck sales.

Go the distance, and then some.

Pure electric models offer up to 350 miles of range. Scout’s extended range models offer 500 miles of range or more through a built-in, gas-powered generator. Even in the middle of nowhere, you can still get there.
