Southwest Illinois | The CaseIH knock on brackets are grade A garbage. We had Nichols knock on sweeps on our TM200 and maybe lost 2 or 3 sweeps over maybe 10 years. Went to a TM255 about 6 years ago with the CaseIH knock on system. We now the same size unit across half the acres compared to our old TM200 and we would lose 5 or 6 sweeps a year from the TM255. Dealer always said they were making changes to the brackets to keep the rubber "grip teeth" from coming apart from the bracket. The only change I ever saw was that they doubled the price of the bracket over the course of 5 years. Finally took all the Case garbage off and went back to Nichols. I am sure we will be glad. I will be glad when the sweeps and the TM255 go down the road. | |
