SW MO | Did this three years ago. Sprayed 1 qt roundup right before I planted. Sprayed 1 qt roundup about a week later right before the corn came up. Came back post with atrazine, dual, and callisto once the corn was about 4 or 5 leaf stage. Fields were ultra clean.
I think in this scenario it's very important to let the cover crop progress and plant the corn into warm soil where it can grow in a hurry.
